This IS
Firebush
MArley Tape
An 11 song tape with long time Firebush friend and musical ally, Mikey. Firebush’s fast and dark flows contrast nicely with Mikey’s slower and lighter lyrics.
Whiskey Dicks Vol. 1
The first installment of the established rap duo’s (Whiskey Dicks, consisting of Firebush & Waffle$lat) projects. This short, four song project perfectly captures the two’s early style and dynamic. Waffle$lat’s deep and cutting sound contrasts Firebush’s high pitched and jumpy flows.
Whiskey Dicks Vol. 2
The second installment from rap duo Whiskey Dicks, we hear an evolved sound from the two. Tracks like “TREN” and “BAD” show quick and more inventive lyricism, with dark and menacing flows. While at the same time, “SPEAK” gives a slower and melancholy sound, and “COLDER” has a pop sound and showcases the duo’s vocals besides their rapping.

What music is to me
I have always taken a large interest in music of all kinds. When I was younger, I heard lots of artists like Coolio and Outkast through my parents. I have always had “The Song” at any given point, a song that I would listen to no less than 20 times a day. Some of these growing up were “Mr. Rager” by Kid Cudi and “love.” by Kid Cudi. Another one even to this day is “Rap Saved Me” by 21 Savage, Offset, Metro Boomin and Quavo.
In the past, music was a way for me to destress, get through a workday or school day, I pretty much always had something playing in my ear.
Today, my love for music is at it’s peak, and has become a way I connect with people, and how I calm myself. Creating music has become how I take my emotions out, whether I’m angry, sad, anxious. Yelling into the microphone is how I take those emotions out, and writing good lyrics and creating good melodies is something I take pride in.
